In order to start your business in Malaysia legally, a business owner should get a “Business License” before the commencement of business activities. The Business License (BL) is issued by Local Town Council (or Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan in Malay) and renewable annually. There are some license fee to be paid and the amounts is depends on the type of business.
